We’re now looking to OCULA 3.0 which will be available later on the year. Watch this space!
The StorNext® M330 metadata controller appliance is ideal for Big Data environments needing fast, sustained and reliable shared access to very large files across multiple platforms.
The StorNext M330 creates shared data pools, eliminating the need for multiple copies, reducing storage space, simplifying workflows and enabling faster project completion.
The StorNext M330 includes factory-installed and licensed software, two metadata controllers (one for failover) and uses a dedicated metadata array for optimal operation. Also included are ten (10) StorNext File System SAN clients that can be used on any operating system, two StorNext File System SAN clients for the metadata controllers, and the High Availability License Option, enabling automatic metadata controller failover.

Hot on the heels of the highly anticipated NUKE and NUKEX 6.3 release, NUKE and NUKE 6.3v2 is now available!
Post-launch we became aware of a couple of bugs that could cause users a headache, so we’ve worked round the clock to fix them quickly…
So, what’s been fixed?
We’ve fixed a memory problem in NUKE, which was causing a notable slowdown in rendering speed when using the 3D Particles System.
There was also an issue loading NUKE on OSX and Linux when the language was configured to something other than English. That’s also now fixed.
Download NUKE and NUKEX 6.3v2 today.
Or, check out the full list of additions and improvements made to NUKE and NUKEX 6.3.
Beef up your knowledge with our NUKE training tutorials
You’ll find a hole host of insightful video tutorials on our website, there to guide you through the many aspects of working with NUKE and NUKEX.
Check out our NUKE video tutorials.
What’s new?
3D PARTICLES (X)
NUKEX 6.3′s true 3D particle system integrates seamlessly with NUKE’s 3D workspace.
Artists can create a range of particle effects quickly and effectively within the composite including breaking windows, dust, fire and rain. No need to go back and forth to an external 3D rendering package.
DENOISE (X)
Our research team won a Sci-Tech Award for our original FURNACE algorithms in 2007. We’ve now written a completely new Wavelet-based Denoise algorithm resulting in cleaner and ore visually pleasing results with less artefacts, which is already being well received…
“I’ve been using Denoise in alpha on a few projects and it has easily saved 400 to 500 hours of my time and allowed me to produce cleaner more visually appealing results with less artifacts. It’s made pulling keys on grainy film like working in digital video.”
Brandon Fayette – CG Supervisor & Production Lead, BAD ROBOT
PLANAR TRACKER (X)
NUKEX 6.3 brings Planar Tracking to NUKE dramatically speeding up common compositing tasks such as sign replacement, element inserts and clean plate generation.
Any new element to be matched to a planar surface such as the face of a building, floor or car side can easily be tracked, placed and animated.
