LAS VEGAS, U.S.A. --(Business Wire)-- April 18, 2005 Silicon Color announces the immediate availability of the newest member of its professional real-time color correction and grading solution for QuickTime(TM) -- FinalTouch SD -- at NAB in Las Vegas. FinalTouch SD is available through its worldwide reseller network and that the Australian pricing will be released by it’s solution provider, Intraware Australia Pty. Ltd. Silicon Color will be giving demonstrations at their booth, SL-3665, during NAB. The FinalTouch product family can also be seen at the following companies' exhibits: AJA -- SL2514; Blackmagic Design -- SL4916; and QLogic -- SL3634.

"There are thousands of videographers in the market today that have never experienced the power of a professional color correction or color effects tool. We wanted to empower that market segment with a fantastic toolset while also providing a tightly integrated solution with Final Cut Pro," said Roland Wood, President and founder of Silicon Color." FinalTouch SD is the absolute best value proposition in the market today and once again sets a high benchmark for the industry."

"I was able to completely color correct a feature with FinalTouch SD. Not only was I able to set a great look for the project, but all the incredible tools in FinalTouch SD gave me the ability to fix many things that I was never able to even attempt before," said David Deelo of Crest National. "The workflow was just fantastic because of the way FinalTouch imports XML files directly from Final Cut Pro and then exports the XML back to Final Cut Pro so the editor can re-link to the corrected files."

Highlights of FinalTouch SD include:

Primary In -- with advanced controls for shadows, midtones, highlights, lift, gamma, gain, hue and saturation, Integrated Vectorscopes, Waveform monitors, Histogram, Multiple Live Grades
